Hygiene and safety measures in the classroom are paramount. Keeping both children and staff safe is key for all schools across the globe. Returning to the school environment following the Covid-19 pandemic means having to change the way we have been teaching and laying out our classrooms. Some schools have now followed UK government guidelines and have seated the children in rows to avoid face-to-face interaction. At Gratnells Learning Rooms, we don’t endorse children being seated in this format but during the Covid-19 crisis we understand why some schools are favouring this option.
