Mobile devices in classrooms

by Fellowship Agency May 9, 2017

Mobile computing devices; tablets, smartphones, dataloggers are becoming an increasingly important tool in the classroom.

A unit like the Gratnells PowerTray can store and charge each device so they are always ready for use in class. The latest PowerTrays will soon offer ‘one touch’ software updates and can be securely locked away in the Gratnells PowerTrolley.

For student’s own property, there is the issue of appropriate use and security of storage when they are ‘checked in’ during lessons. Trays fitted with foam inserts can be used to store the phones safely and provide an instant visual check for the teacher to ensure all are handed in. The trays can then be loaded into lockable units, or even PowerTrays and PowerTrolleys.
