Missing Numbers

This maths What’s in my tray? activity will support your child’s understanding of the number concept and also help to order numbers.

What to do:

• Create a grid on the base of a tray using masking tape.
• Write out the numbers you want to focus on (1-40 in our activity) on small pieces of card.
• Cut the numbers out and place into a separate container.
• Place a few numbers into the grid and leave the rest blank.
• Can your child fill in the gaps with the extra numbers?
