Sand Letters

This sensory What’s in my tray? activity will support the learning of new letters and words.

What to do:

• Fill a tray with sand.
• Place letters inside the sand (We have used EDx transparent letters)
• Take it in turns to close eyes and pick a letter.
• Once a letter has been chosen, form the letter in the sand with your finger.
• Can you think of a word that begins with the same letter?
