Webinar

Learning Rooms outdoors

by Fellowship Agency May 18, 2021

Dr Katherine Forsey will take us on a journey to explore the why, what, where and how of learning outdoors. Katherine will share a selection of practical, outdoor, curriculum-based activities that can be deployed immediately in school grounds and beyond. We will cover a range of activities from Learning Rooms’ free outdoor collection and share how they can be adapted for different ages/abilities. Use of the outdoors for learning has never been more important, alongside reduced risk of viral transmission we also see a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing, so there are many benefits beyond boosted academic achievement.

By the end of the webinar you will have:

  • Explored the why, what, where and how of learning outdoors.
  • Discovered the free Learning Rooms Outdoors curriculum-based resources and seasonal collections.
